HELL NO!
Well ....... I guess if you made a sentence like "Clinton was the greatest modern-day President ever and Bush is the biggest Jackasssss ever!".
Clinton was the best president in modern times that the world has ever seen. The man is revered in foreign countries and foreign policies and by the majority of Americans. Of course the Republicans didn't like him because they were jealous of his classy and charismatic way of handling all situations. No Republican president has ever showed Clinton's class, qualifications, impeccable track record and yes his intelligence.....at least he was not a 'C' average dunce like George. Monica Lewinski was a Republican scandal that was aimed at bringing down a great man....they FAILED because all of it was a big FAT LIE!!! Just like DUMBO's (George) FAT LIE that Iraq had WMDs.
Bush is a conniving LIAR and TERRORIST.
President Clinton is the real deal! I wish there were no term limits in his rule because we would not have been in the mess we are in if he was still President. We are all burdened with our share of the current deficit (approximately $18,000 per person) because of "Bungling George"!
President Clinton left us with a SURPLUS, BOOMING STOCK MARKET and HIGH EMPLOYMENT RATES. In Bush's first year as the "Class Idiot" in the White House, we plunged into a deficit, the stock market fell and unemployment was a record high! I can go on and on about DUMB GEORGE...but one word sums up President Clinton...CLASS!

Nope, no comparison.
Clinton liked to womanize and then play stupid while spending millions of taxpayer dollars to say "define intercourse." All the while, his murderous wife ran the country behind the scenes.
Bush on the other hand has made some mistakes and can't be called the greatest president. But at least Laura understands she's the First Lady not the President and there are not little interns running all around the Oval Office desk while being chased with cigars.

No argument that Bush "grates" -- for me -- more than grates - I am embarrassed for this country that this man is president - I hold onto the hope that we will survive him -- and return this country to valuing honor and freedom in 2008.
Clinton was certainly a better president than Bush. Will he be seen as great? Hard to factor in all the "less than honorable" behavior that riddled his political career -- but it should be done before we hang "great" on him. I do wish we had him back though! I'd take less-than-saintly over arrogant/self-serving/stupid any day!

President Bush has done a wonderful job of getting us into needless wars and running up a trillion dollars in debt to Communist China. President Clinton occupied himself with silliness like improving education, breaking up 3 big terrorist plots, boosting economic growth and employment while at the same time protecting the environment. Obviously, if you love war and being hopelessly in debt, President Clinton was a total failure, and President Bush a wonderful success. Republicans love war and being in debt, that is why they love Bush and hate Clinton.

Clinton's term seemed rather uneventful because the Monica scandal. But the fact is, lots was happening that he neglected to deal with. First and foremost, he did not really deal with terrorism. The USS cole was bombed, as was the US embassy in Sudan, the World Trade center was also bombed. If you pretend it doesn't exist, it doesn't make the problem go away.
There was a ton of fraud happening on Wallstreet. We remember the Clinton years as very prosperous when it was all based on corporate lies. Lots of ordinary people lost their asses soon after Clinton left office.
I will take a poor public speaker as a President if he has some conviction before I will take a smooth talking President who bases his administration on poll's.

They were both President for 2 terms. Other than that there is nothing similar.
Clinton was the teflon President. He made moves, such as bombing runs, whenever any news about one of his numerous scandals hit. yet liberals flock to him like stink on a monkey. His policies towards economic future were HORRID. His handling of internation events and terrorism were even worse. His treatment of the military was dispicable.
Bush is far from a perfect President, but I'd call him slightly above average. Many things he could have done better, but many more he could have done worse. His actions after terror were/are completely commendable. His economic policies are the right way of doing things. Slow steady growth of the economy should be the goal. It helps heep inflation, employment, and foreign market trade in check. His handling of education has been sub-par. His lack of push on border control has not been what many of us would like to see.
