it's almost the 5th anniversary of 9/11...?

i heard on the news that on sept. 11, '06 America may be in danger of terror... now i don't know this for sure... but that's what i MAY have heard.


MY QUESTION: Is there a specific reason WHY Al-Qaeda picked that date? 9-11-01 (September 11, 2001)

a lot of people r saying it connects with the 9-1-1 which is an emergency telephone number ( i dunno how it connects...) they just have the same numbers... and other people say that 11 is a number that they r using.... that confuses me cuz... they say that 9+1+1=11... which is true but wat does that have to do with the terrorists?

ok look what an anniversary means... : the date on which an event occurred in some previous year (OR the celebration of it). i'm not celebrating 9/ll i'm remembering it... and yea memorial might suit it better but the guy who called me S.T.U.P.I.D is stupid himself... cuz he doesn't even know the meaning.

With the event that have unfolded today in London, I wonder if that plot was meant for 9/11/06. These terrorists are patients and will wait years and years. There have continually been rumors for more terror on the way, so there is no way to know what is and isn't true until arrests are made or something actually happens.
The 9/11 date was chosen for reasons that we really don't know because the people who chose it haven't disclosed why, and if we knew why it was chosen, then we could avert other such happenings.

Oh, there have been so many different thoughts on this one. Here's mine from 6-6-06:Occult #'s are 6, 11, 13 and multiples i.e. 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 222, 444.......
4-19-14, bombing of the Sear's tower was avoided. This was 911 hrs after the Madrid bombings on 3-11-04, which was exactly 911 days after Sept. 11th. If the attack on sears would have been successful, another attack 444 or 777. Ironically, those dates would be 7-7-05 and 6-6-2006 is 778 days after the foiled attack. Keep 778 in mind. June 6th is 334 days after London bombings on 7-7-05. Keep 334 in mind. 222 days before June 6, two boys were executed which started a muslim riot in france, so, the date 6-6-06 represents occultic 222, 444, 666 and ALMOST 333 and 777. Hmmm...... Some people think that another attack will happen on 6-6-06 at the Sears tower because of its zip code; 60606, but 6-5-06 would make more sense. Listen, the number of days between 9/11 and 6-5-06 is 1,728. 1+7+2+8=18 or 3x6. THREE SIX'S; 666!

Sears tower attack is 777. On 6-6-06, an attack could be staged using local time, while in New York, which is where 9/11 happened, it would be 6-5-06 which would be 1,728 days since the 9/11 attack....

being the fact that the largest muslim nations are exactly 12 hours ahead of U.S. east coast time, it would be possible to stage an attack on both 6-5-06 and 6-6-06.

I've also heard that there may be something in the works for 9/11 this year but no specifics. As to what the date signifies I have no idea. Maybe something in the Arab culture?

No, they chose it randomly and because it fell on a Tueday that year (2001), the terrorists new that not as many people would be flyign that day (it's a light day for air travel) thus, they figured they could get through the lines quicker and have less people to deal with on the planes who might try and stop them.

My question is why would ppl call it an anniversary? Anniversary is suppose to be a day of celebration. I think a proper name for 9/11 should me a memorial.
