Sounds like you are already hitting it pretty hard you might need to fit some ab specific training into your regimen. Three days a week 15-20minutes sessions should work. pick 5-6 exercises and do them one after the other in a circuit. Rest a couple of minutes after you finish all exercises then hit it a couple more times. Believe it or not but yoga is actually really good for tightening up your core as well.

first, to adress the guy ahead of me...any variation of pushup you find does notthing, stick with the original. 2nd 1 beer aday is good. Now, eat 6 meals aday, no carbs an hour before bed, protein at every meal and fiber in the morning. Go running 1st thing in the morning, before eating. If you feel you cant run on an empty stomach, have a whey shake.

Exercises don't do it, you have to eat right. You think you already do maybe but you don't. If you eat anything processed or has hydrogenated oil in it you'll not lose anything.
Sit ups as an exercise to get rid of your belly has been a debunked myth for many, many years now. How can anyone even think it's logical? Build or tone mucle under fat will make the fat go away? *shakes head while rolling eyes*

Beer has nothing to do with your gut contrary to popular opinion, it's to do with male hormones.
if you want to get rid of your belly then you need to cut the calories and exercise more. You might have what is called visceral fat and it surrounds your inner organs rather than sitting under the skin. You won't show a six pack until your total body fat drops below 9%.

Im 41 and have the same problem. I did have good results when I cut my sugar intake by 1/2 and it reduced dramatically. I would suggest you try it and also detox your body on a watermelon diet for 3 days to cleanse your system.
I just got lasy and stopped but it worked for me!
have a nice day:)

first, cardio exercises, to sweat out the water, which is the bulk of the "fat" this, in combination with sit-ups and crunches, will flatten the stomach and give it definition. it is not good enough to do just one or the other, you need all 3, cardio, sit ups (for lower abs) and cruches for the upper abs.

If you have a little belly from beer or just eating the wrong foods, change your diet. Try some crunches on an incline. Good luck!

run more, do cardio, get rid of the nasty layer of fat over your abs to make your ab muscles visible.
your genes may have something to do with it.
I think plastic surgery could be done to get rid of the excess skin and fat if you had a big belly before.
