I used to watch it all the time.
MY question for you is:
do you remember the Real Adventures of Johnny Quest?
It was a short lived (2 season) adventure series starring the characters from Johnny Quest when they were teenagers.
The newest adventure-type series like that is called Venture Brothers. Not at all like the old stuff, it's got a wild streak. You might like it.

Yes, it was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. He had a dog named Bandit and a friend named Hagi.
I remember the show was on TV around the same time as Speed Racer.
My kids say Johnny Quest is still on once in a while on Cartoon Network.

Sure, It was a cartoon name the same where the cartoon was some mix of mystery and action. Johnny Quest was a skinny blond guy who was always with his friend from India Hadjee and his white, I believe it was a bulldog, dog. His father was the scientist Benton Quest, red hair and a beard in his jawbone. Their bodyguard, I don't remember his name, was tall and always looking for some action. Johnny was always wearing a black sweater and Hadjee always his Hindu turban. In the Cartoon net work at adult swim they have the parody of it, the name is "The Venture Brothers."

Yes! I was never a big fan, but my sister loved that show. Even better is the new show that makes fun of it, The Venture Brothers. It's on Adult Swim.

oh how can i forget it!I was a little kid then.It brought life into me when I came completely exhausted from school.
Johnny's intellect,boldness,& of course his looks-then
Jessie's cuteness,& Haji's native look(as he is from India like me)
---- all brought a different kind of energy & vigour in me.
The cartoon took me to a unique & imaginary world. It
taught me that many things to see in the world.
How I wish that I could have seen it again!
