yes, all ok friend, nice of you to take the trouble to ask, hope all ok in the states; the outcome is mostly inconvenience, no body seems to be going anywhere the planes are stacked but easing a bit now. security seem to have it under control. and have been for a few weeks, but one might slip the net, so anything can happen, still we are all taking the positive outlook, but expecting something to happen anytime. good luck, god bless america.

Personally I think it's same old, same old. The media are having a field day. Why can't they just report on the news, rather than give an over dramatic account. There was a threat, it was dealt with. Now can we please get on with it.
I can't help thinking the terrorists are in a win win situation. If they get away with it, they win. If they get caught, they still bloody win with all the disruption they have caused. The IRA used these tactics to great advantage and could bring a city to virtual standstill with one phone call. Now we have the authorities and the media doing it for them.
Even after some mistakes I still have enough faith in the spooks to do their jobs well, as they have today. But we also have to play our part.
If a terrorist can disrupt your daily life by making you question your everyday actions then they have won.
But of course thats just me, standing on my soapbox in the corner.

Well I think it's nice of you to reach out, cos I think that the USA and UK have this weird hate thing going on.
My thoughts: I am glad that security found out, I worked out that around 3000+ could have died today. Thank GOD security found out.
Even though it was going to be English Muslims, I still have nothing against them. I have something against the extremist Muslims that are putting a bad name to normal Muslims and Pakistanis. Today shows that we need to stick together what ever our race, gender or religion because cos times are getting worse and people have strength in numbers.
GOD bless the whole world.

Tony and George will be made up to hear the news they will see it as vindicating their stance.
Its all bull of course;
Trouble with this country is we dont do what they do in the States and run people through the "profiler" we just stop everyone, including families with children, from going on holiday

I know to some it's scary. But u have to give credit to fantastic detective work of New Scotland Yard and the Security Service MI5 who handled this case. If it wasn't for them we would've have had another 9/11 on our hands.

I have in laws in Houston, Tx..... married to a Houstonian myself, live in the UK.
We are both unnerved but relieved they foiled the terrorist plans. We were planning to fly to Houston in the very near future, that plan as from today has been shelved. Security is bad enough at our airports as it is, something like this is going to make it 100 times worse. But thanks for asking.

It just proves, that if this country carries on as before
THEN ..
Everybody should become a security officer of some sort ...
This problem is getting bigger by the day, and brute force alone , no longer cuts it ...

It is very very scary.
It is very re-assuring to know that it was found by the police and intelligence services before anything happened but we are told it was a close run thing.

It worries me a lot, I hope that was all of them caught & all this security just a precaution, but I think I will still take a chance & go on holiday.

It's quite unfortunate. Kudos to the British Officials for managing to thwart the terror attack this time.
