a house is just a house... it could be empty... it could be not... it could be big or it coul be small... it could have a family in there or none at all... but a home is a house wherein a family is occupying in there... a home is a house where love is there... a home could never be home if you wouldn't feel the sense or feeling of belongingness and happiness and love with the people you are in that house together...

A house is a structure. It becomes a home when a family moves in and makes it theirs by adding their own personal touches. Real Estate agents prefer the term "home." My guess is that it is a much more cozy word. "A cat makes a house a home." (sorry, I couldn't resist adding that.)

House is the physical object in which you live in. It is made up of earthly materials like stone, wood, brick, cement, concrete etc.
Home is an abstract noun. It consists of the family living in it and the life thriving in it. A home is a spiritual place void of the physical world.

a house is just that..its a house some where you sleep and possibly eat. A home is when you add comfort to your house and you add personality and it is somewhere you enjoy relaxing. Its not just a house anymore. i hope that helps..its kind of hard to explain
