Lychee fruit? The fruits are originally from Southern China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines and are now grown in Florida, Hawaii, and California. The lychee has a brown or reddish exterior and is about 1 1/2 inches in size. When peeled away it reveals a pearly white fleshy sweet fruit. Don't eat the peel and watch out for the seed!! You can find canned Lychee fruits that have been pitted and peeled at an asian grocery store. The fruit is packed with Vitamin C.
The first time I ever had one was when my friend, whom is originally from Cambodia, made a fruit salad with Lychees in it.

Assuming you mean lychee, it's a small (1-2 inches) fruit with red skin and clear flesh that grows in China and southeast Asia. Pretty tasty stuff, you might like it. Give it a try.
