For years I watched my man, friends men,etc. Play these games and act like they don't have time for anything else in there lives. I need to know why they choose to do this. Don't they know it pisses us off.

So the government can sit back and say "We Dun Good"! Keep everyone inside and keep them out of the streets and out of politics.
Seriously though, games mimic the need for men to conquer, destroy and have a civilized pissing match. Without games, sports, competition all the wars would be amplified and you would see more wars in general. Which country in the world has the most organized sports, etc...??? Third world countries have wars because that is the only method for them to act out in aggression.

It's not just men that like video games! I enjoy sitting for hours enjoying a game here and there. It's similar to sitting down to read a book, or watch a tv show. It's FUN!

Thats why we do it - because we know it pisses you off. It's our way of getting back at you for not being ready when we told you that we'd pick you up for dinner at 6 and you didn't finish your hair until 6:30.
For buying you all that stuff on Valentine's Day, making us hold your bag while you spend 30 minutes trying on 2 pairs of jeans, for messing up our bathroom floors with hairspray residue, for spending our hard earned cash by taking you out to expensive restaurants so you can take 2 bites of your food and then say you're full.

Sick men with no lives still sit down, being lazy and playing videogames all day! i mean you don't even live your games alll you do is play them. Don't you wish that sometimes you were kind of in the game? Thats the Wii! nintendo Wii has a unique controller that revolutionizes videogaming.

Everyone has their type of distraction/getaway. A large number of men enjoy playing video games.
Why should that piss you off? Do you truly think they are wasting their time? They are only entertaining themselves. What do you do to pass time? Read a book? Go shopping? Watch a movie? It's no difference. Men just just the competiveness and interaction that video games provide.

They play these games because its relaxing and, in some cases, reduces stress. I can understand if it "pisses you off", however, that same guy could be just as pissed if they went clothes, shoes or jewelry shopping.

Because it's the greatest thing ever! Men who didn't make it to the NFL can now play in the Nfl in the game! It's very addicting!

I have often wondered this. My boyfriend now is like that. Instead of worrying about it now, I have chosen to accept the fact that he ahs a hobby and loves it and it keeps him at home. His hobby could be to frequent strip clubs and go out drinking. It could always be worse. Try getting your own hobby. Or try out the Playstation. I have been know to whoop guy's asses in Madden.

It's video games! I mean come on! Video games are my life! It is for the fun of sitting on your butt all day and playing video games and doing stuff in video games that you could never do in your entire life!

A better question is "why don't more men do this?!" I love video games, especially the one's dealing with sports and the one's with guns.
