i am a 25 yr old female, i am 5'5 and weigh 210.. i have had a long term rel with my bf for over 4 years, and i have a gorgous little girl of 5 months. yet my appearance aint happening, and im depressed. i dont work.or go to school. i find myself eating even when i aint hungry. ne one else do this? what are ways to help? plus i am soo out of shape therefore ive been lazy since giving birth. any helpful tips as to get up n start moving???

yeah when I'm feeling depressed I eat and dont gain weight because I work out everyday..I do it because the reason I'm depressed is because Im mad at someone so i jst take my anger out on the equipment, you should try that..it really helps you to feel better about yourself it may be hard at first but just push through it...Good Luck!

u can run outside or even go to the park with your little girl and play tennis or ride bike...also when your bored instead of eating try to just take a nap..something that i did was i took a picture of me when i was really heavy and taped it on my counder or wherver your food is and when i got bored and went to get some food, i saw the picture so i just changed my mind and drank water or juice instead...now im 5'5 and 119 pounds..and im soo pround of myself..u acan also buy an ipod and put the songs that u like and listen to music while u work out or dance..good luck!

sometimes it happens like when u get bored inside ur house u tend to get hungry but its because u have nothing else 2 do ... u should go window shopping every once in a while and take a walk around the neighborhood it helps

i also eat for comfort AT TIMES, but i have friends that tell me that i should stop before i become over-weight. NOT trying to offend yo, but you shouldtry your best to atleast walk for 10 minutes a day, and for a reward, you can eat, but NOT junk. Try healthy food. I use to eat for comfort ALOT when i was in elementary skool, but my mother would ALWAYS push me to excersize and eat watever she made becuase she tried to make alot of healthy foods. You should try that too and even if your outcomes dont turn out to be wat you want them to be, still know that you and no one else is, so you dont need to worry about wat anyone else says

Yeah, that's what you call "emotional eating" and I do it, even if nots healthy. Try getting a hobby or going out more. Keep busy so that you can keep your mind off food.

Duh... all girls eat for comfort! The baby weight will come off, try to snack on healthy foods. and never skip a meal. If you are thinking of starting a diet, i believe weight watchers is the best, it teaches you how to eat healthy and from all food categories, not just to stop eating... its all about portion control.
