I'm looking for a questing game that does not involve playing others online. One that lasts a long time, it doesn't have to be freeware or shareware, but that would be nice too. I usually like the medieval type, but any opinions are welcome. Thanks :)

If your willing to spend a little money, Diablo 2 is pretty good. Diablo one is not that great, and you don't have to play the first to play the second, so I would pick Diablo 2.

You have the option to play online, but don't have to. I personally wouldn't because many people cheat and create fake weapons to get an advantage. However, if you can hook up some computers or use LAN, you and your friends can play together if they have to game also.

The game lasts pretty long, has great graphics, and has good replay value. You get to choose which character you want, and level them up as you complete tasks. As you advance, you learn better spells or techniques and receive better equipment.

Maple story is a free side scrolling MMORPG that will keep you busy for a long time, you run around and do quests and gain experience and level up etc. There are lots of others running around in the same world but you can just ignore them if you don't care for grouping. http://www.mapleglobal.com/
