the majority of the words are shortened and i can't understand half the time what they wrote. Its like: "ppl how do i rd wht i write its not so gr8t! do u 2 have prblms?" Aaack! is that not annoying? :)

Yes!! It drives me insane. Are people now such poor typers that they can't take the extra second to spell out there words...or are they just that lazy...or ignorant? I don't know, but it doesn't take that long to type out a word.

For me it's not so much the shorthand, it's the bad spelling and poor grammar.
