except underwear or a bodysuit type thing? That means no shoes, socks, hand luggage and only the essentials like your passport and ticket. This would help to cut down on people being able to smuggle stuff on and make it safer too!

As a naturist, that would suit me fine. But I'd like to hang on to some of my usual hand luggage though.
Interesting thought; would this rule apply to the cabin crew as well?

Hey I do not have the best body in the world but I would like to keep it all in one piece... so if it mean't flying stark bollock naked to remain safe then I would be the first to strip off..... so no more hand luggage on the 'plane eh? well thats just fine by me as long as we all stay alive!

just stop the root of all these terror attacks look over for a second at Israel and if you haven't watched the news they have decided to go all out and wipe out a 10miles of the Lebanon border and they mean to kill anyone that is in there way even kids and civilians so to do this they needed something to take the attention away from that correct so they tried to do the terror attack in the plane and when it did not work they stopped all of what they planned i wish people could put the pieces together.

Unfortunantly, those people determined to smuggle things on board would still be able to if they are, uh, willing. And I'm not sure I'd want to endure the extra security search to prevent that from happening. ;-)

Nobody wants to see all that.
And nobody's trying to smuggle stuff on the planes. All of this is to keep you afraid, and not to think for yourself. That way, when they tell you that your liberties are being reeled in, you won't complain about it.
