I believe God created the earth. Think of it this way. Someone or something must be needed to create anything. Things don't just happen like that. People who believe in evolution says the world began with a great bang. What cause the bang? Something or someone must have cause that bang. So I believe that God created the earth.

You don't need to choose one or the other. You can believe both that God exists and purposefully created Earth, creatures, and humans AND that evolution is occuring. Darwin himself discussed in "On the Origin of Species" that "true knowledge" could be found in both his book and "the book of God's works".
There's a book you might find interesting if you're having difficultly accepting both God and the theory of evolution. It's called, "Finding Darwin's God: A Scientist's Search for Common Ground Between God and Evolution" by Kenneth R. Miller.

I believe in both to an extent. I do believe God created the Earth and I DO believe that God created man directly but I also believe that humans are related to monkeys and pigs. How this works out I don't know and neither does anyone else. There is a missing piece to the puzzle and because it has not been found, people are coming up with the worst theories you can imagine.
Imo, it's probably something stupid like devolution. It wouldn't shock me as there are enough pigs and monkeys in our society passing of as humans today.

I totally believe in evolution and do not believe in god. The theory of god does not make sense. It is the easy way out for those who afraid and do not want to think. What is the purpose of all that pain and misery in the world?
If the beauty of the blooming flower is gods expression, what does the murder of a young women means? Or death of a child from cancer? How god relates to the violence of human race during last 2000? Is this salvation?
In order to believe in any god one has to be completely ignorant of historic events...........

I see things this way:
God first created the Universe and all in it – This is the Creation bit.
Then God decided to start changing things a bit. He’d make a few modifications and turn it loose to see if it would survive within the rules He set up – This is the Evolution bit.
If it not only survived, but thrived – That’s the “Survival of the fittest” bit.
So, I guess I believe in the Combination Theory.

i admire Yutgoyun's analogy. i replaced into gong to indicate yet another one. think there are 2 clocktowers in a city. the two are thoroughly precise each and every of the time. One clocktower, the clockmaker lives interior the tower and keeps the clock in suitable situation so it keeps suitable time. the different clocktower, the clockmaker left earlier, the tower is locked and the clock needs no maintenance in any respect. which might you think of replaced right into a extra suited clockmaker? for sure the guy who created a clock that ought to run all with the aid of itself without tending. So if God is acceptable, I propose thoroughly suitable, he could have created the international after which stepped back. The added progression of the international could be 'programmed' into it. it rather is an extremely harmless and simplistic view to think of that God in simple terms created each and every of the species, unexpectedly. all of us know, case in point, that some ninety% of all species that ever lived are actually extinct. So it stands to reason that God created a mechanism for added 'speciation'. Why could not that be evolution? Why could not evolution join God's plan? regardless of in case you talk Genesis to be a 'creation fantasy', whilst in comparison with different primitive creation myths it rather is the main precise with the aid of -some distance- in terms of the chronology of ways the universe developed. First there replaced into earth, then water, then flora, then fish, then animals, then guy. There are some issues--like the solar coming after the earth--yet thinking how previous Genesis is, between the oldest written records that exist in the international, it rather is stunning!

i personally feel that evolution is a more plausible answer to how life came about on earth, but i am still puzzled personally by the creation of the universe - the big bang theory just doesn't fulfill that notion for me

You can believe in both, you know.
Evolution is proven to happen on a constant basis, though, so don't get that confused. The problem comes in explaining how it started. Some say God, some say science. It is up to you to choose.

It evolved, however, our god did use earth as a evolution place of his own. In our true spiritual form . A spirit cannot evolve in the spirit world to reach a higher level. To do this it must know human emotions, therefore, spirits volunteer to to leave the serenity of their spiritual life and in a preplanned journey. We enter a human body to experience the earth realm with all its' emotions. At that time the planned experiences we made in heaven are blocked from our human minds and through our free will we travel through our life on earth making decisions and experiences that will hopefully be in line with our spiritual plan. The real test is that we can make tragic decisions that will
seriously setback our spiritual plans. If we ,through our free will, decide to do very bad things. We will be held accountable when we are judged after death, If our journey went in a positive way we would be elevated, if not, we would tragically
be spiritually lowered in status. There would be no penalty for your earthly misgivings but you would have to remain at this new spiritual level until you returned to earth and began a new journey to improve. Many, many spirits return countless times to elevate ther spirtual status. Many fail,,many succeed. Thankfully, we
humans have Gods wisdom of right and wrong on our earth plain, therefore, we must use our free will and our belief in what is right and wrong...Faith, hope and love must be our guide.
