A neurologist is a doctor so 1st you have to go to medical school. Then you have to do a neurology residency.
You can be a medical neurologist or a neurologist that does surgery. Neurologists deal with the brain, the spinal cord, brain tumors, to name just a few.
Sure hope that you didn't think that this was an easy career.

you need seven higher level examinations to become a trainee neurologist and one must be biology
the training takes about 5 years and includes disciplines that help you focus on a very steady hand and more people fail for the unsteady hand than they do for lack of qualifications,
the job is like any other you are basically a body electrician with a bit of plumbing experience as all the thought process from the brain come from neuro transmitters and the vessels that feed a brain are just like a home central heating sytstem,( you spring a leak you have to fix it) if you short circuit a part of the brain you have to repair the circuit quickly before the line goes down forever,
their is only one kind of neurologist unless you work on animals(vetinary neurologist)

If you are really researching a career this is not the place to do it. Get out of the house, go to the local college and start asking questions. If you can't figure that out on your own then I doubt you will have the study skills required to pass any of the courses involved with actually being a neurologist. I sure hope I don't fall and bump my head in your neighborhood.

because of the fact none persons are neurologists, or professors. perchance you are able to desire to verify a school website to confirm what sort of courses they provide. i might assume which you will could do each and all of the uncomplicated guidance for a doctor...4 years of education, plus the internship...On stunning of that, someplace, you will could take the instructions for neurology specialization. I have not got any theory how plenty beyond primary time which will take. Sorry, dude...you asked how come no it is easy to respond to, so I responded that query. truthfully, i'm not sure why you assume anybody in this website to be sensible adequate to comprehend all of this. you would be greater perfect off speaking to a coaching counselor at your college or community college.
