i mean no tutor or trainer

i think most people do that. coz it;s so easy. basically just learnt he major/minor 7th chords to start. and then learn strumming.. and then tabs. just the acoustic stuff. a tutor is totally not neccessary. i guess a friend to teach you techniques and give you tips is pretty helpful, but spend money for lessons? nah.

I taught myself. Im a fairly advanced player now and I play out about 3 times a week. I just spent 20 minutes a day in practice when I started out. Then taught myself the theory I would need to be a good player.

I'm a learning guitarist. Up and coming artist. Nah, not really. I'm still shakey, but hey `eff a tutor. I got my books. I'll be a pro soon enough.

My boy started when he was eight years old...watched videos and copied the fingering...learned guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard on his own, without a lesson from anyone. Been at it for 21 years now, and has his own studio.

If you got the drive, you don't need anything else.

Meee. In sixth grade. I had this really primative folk guitar book my mom used when she took lessons and I taught myself from it.

i did...i mean i dont play that well..but i would rather die than learn staff notation and boring stuffs with an old crummy musician.....
