Of course! Doctor's are not perfect, but maybe you should look for a new one.

I personally think it is better to feel that way. Doc's are not Gods and of course you need to second guess them.

Too many people follow their advice blindly.

If they really did know everything.. how come Doc's tend to die reallly early in life? With all those pills you would think they would live forever.

Well maybe you have something totally worse than he's ever seen and thats why he doesnt know....

thats kinda a joke... but doctor's have lots of tough schooling to become one... and when they are doctors, they should get a little credit no matter what they tell ya/

My doctor did the same thing. It's scary/funny coz he told me to go to another doctor and never go to him again. I think that will be the only advice i'll take from him. :) You should find another doctor too.

Please, everyone needs to remember that Dr.s are a business...therefore if you aren't satisfied w/ the customer service / care to the patient, go to someone else...another thing to remember is that just because someone is an MD or DO doesn't mean they are gonna know everything... remember Dr.s tend to specialize, therefore if your question is better suited for a sub-specialist then ask to be referred to one...so since your Dr. said they "didn't know" that's your cue to be savvy enough to say back to them "can you please refer me to someone that does?"

You have to have faith in your doctor. You need to find a new one if you believe he is an idiot.
