I understand your angst. Nowadays, it seems that it's not about winning, but more about calling the winner a cheater. There's no honor anymore. Kind of like the Landis situation. Don't worry. No matter what, they'll go down in history as having won the cup.

Maybe you should have done your reading, soccergirl! All was well and peaceful and I was actually showing much respect towards Italy, until your friend Dikk started taunting us and rubbing Italy's win in our faces, and started all the name-calling. That's why we reacted the way we did. I was wrong to ever respect Italy and its fans, because they have shown they are not worthy of it. Italy fans are the wons who can't seem to move on, because they obviously have to keep bragging about their win every five minutes.

all the negative italy questions are asked by the french fans. and all the negative zidane/french questions are asked by the italian fans. makes sense to me even though its getting kind of old at this point.
however, the personal insults have reduced tremendously and everyone seems to be getting along pretty well for a change...is it possible we're learning to accept that everyone has an opinion and that the opinion may differ from ours??? i sure hope so!

Yes, italia won the world cup the people who make hateful comments are just upset that there team didn't win, and its a very stupid way to show anger. ITALY DESERVED TO WIN, AND THEY WON IT ALL.

touzours just upset, u saw his zidane icon, he just wanted france to win. and alot of the criticism, is because materazzi made zidane go out and and they think if materazzi kept his mouth shut, france could of won. but who cares? way 2 late, its not like they are going to do a rematch anyway.
