Good for you hun! It's nice to see a woman who's confident for once.
Some hints in particular order:
For stripes, vertical not horizontal.
No big patterns, only little if you must.
Monochromatic clothing when possible.
Darker colors, avoid white, cream, and khaki.
If you are wearing bright colors, don't wear them on the largest part of your body.
A waistline will cut your body in half making you look shorter.
Look for some sundresses with an A-line skirt that stop either at the knee or ankle.
Don't try for skinny heels, they will only make your legs look heavier in comparrison.
No ankle straps on your shoes.
V-necks and scoop necks are better than square or boat.
Cap sleeves, not sleeveless.
Avoid stiff or shiny fabrics. They add weight.
Get pants and shorts that sit about 1 inch below the waist. When they sit on the waist they give you a belly bulge, too low your love handles are pushed out.
Don't get capris that end at the middle of your calf. It's the widest part and will only make your legs look heavier. Look for a pair that end right below the knee where they should, it's slimming. You may have to shop in the petites to get this.
No pleats, they add bulk.
Don't get a dark color bathing suit, it does the opposite of dark clothing. Instead get one in a good color for your tone, or stick to natural earth tones.
Since it's a cruise, you'll probably want at least one nice evening dress. Stick with all one color, and get a basic cut in an elegant style. The more you add to the dress, the more the eye will be drawn to your body, and away from your lovely face.

OK your 15 and your young therefore you can get away with wearing lots of things to disguise certain area's. I guess your from Canada or the US, therefore how about those oversized tops the guys wear, that always covers grey area's. As for short's, I reckon the best is the ones below the knee's, preferrably in jean material, that always looks great with any tops. What ever tops you choose, use a size bigger and always wear it over your jeans/shorts or pants - wearing bigger truly does make you look slimmer. Good luck and have a lovely summer.

all i know is that black makes you look slimmer- also clothes that are tailored to your body, or slightly loser-smooth out a person's lines, giving an elegant flowing look. Nothing tight, this will draw attention to whatever areas you may be self-conscious about. If your trying to find a bathing suit, there are brands that carry suits that are made to give all sizes of women what they want- support in the right areas, or specific cuts to minimize or accentuate your best qualities! The Bay carries them, that i know for sure.

Congratulations on your weight loss, and continued success to you. I know all about needing to wear clothes that look slimming. I feel I look good in dark colors or stripes that run up and down not across. If you are planning on wearing light colored clothing keep the print easy on the eyes and wear solid colors in your short, skirts or pants. Have lots of fun on your cruise...and be proud of what you have accomplished, I am also on my way to success.

You can *never* go wrong with classic black. Long, flowing skirts etc, also work well. Certainly avoid, at all costs, horizontal stripes. Though with care, vertical stripes can sometimes elongate stature.
Have fun on your cruise!
p.s. Don't forget to accessorize. That's eye-catching, and certainly a whole bunch of fun.

I always rely on anything black. However, on a cruise you will probably want to wear something a little cooler. I still have a hard time finding things, so maybe i am not really equipped to answer.

The long flowing tops are really popular right now...they hide a multitude of sins. Make yourself comfortable and buy lots to wear over elastic waist pants, shorts and capris. Have fun.

black is always a good idea.
Wear loose clothes and always two pieces
usually patterns help diffuse the fat so no one will know where exactly is your fat area.
wear low waist jeans to make yr *** smaller
and longer shirts to make you look taller
also boot cuts make u look taller, heels are a good idea too.

avoid wearing sleeveless, wear cap sleeve blouses n since ur pretty tall wear capri pants. those r ideal when going cruising. Don't wear xtremely short shorts cos u don't wanna show off ur thighs. No tank tops.U could wear nice a-line skirts with blouses.
