Wikipedia is notoriously incorrect. The entry for evolution on Wikipedia, the Internet encyclopedia that anyone can edit, was altered 2,081 times by 68 editors between December 2001 and last October.
I read the following article in Discover Magazine. I posted it here for you all to see, too.

So correct it.
That's the value of wiki as a community resource. If you have more accurate information, add it to the mix. And cite your sources.
Wiki is a database of what's generally available, and based on the efforts of volunteers who want to share that knowledge. Don't complain just because it doesn't meet your personal standards. If you care enough about it to complain that it's not accurate, then you should care enough to make the effort to correct it.

I check some of their stuff out, but usually when I want answers, I check out 2 or 3 different sources, and so far, Wikipedia has been fairly accurate.

It depends on the subject. I generally go there to get a basic idea of a concept that is new to me. The Flying Spaghetti Monster article appears quite accurate.

Some of it is reliable. If the entry is sourced and hasn't been challenged, I think it's acceptable to use.

I agree that normally validating against other sources proves it is fairly accurate. I never use it as my first source but as one of several sources.

In my experience, it's a fairly good source. Of course depends on what info and for what purpose ...
