Do any of you agree that it is DISGUSTING that they made this film! Actors / Director / Producer will profit from it and not the people who lost family members! Sure, they say they will give the first 10% of profits to families but that will only amount to $333.00 per person! Anyone have anything to say about this film!?
I know I AM NOT PAYING to go see it!

Well, that is your opinion and you make a valid point...however I DID see it last night and I freely admit I wept openly....it was that poignant. It's sad to think anyone could forget 9-11 but I really really think some people have totally forgotten and the movie is a powerful reminder.

So since I disagree w/ you ,I prob won't get the 10 points, but you know what: I DON'T CARE!! People, I recommend you do see the movie. If the $$ bothers you, make a donation to the memorial fund or Red Cross or another worthy organization, like I did.

Peace

I think that it's no different than old war movies and especially Pearl Harbor being that it is about an attack on America as well. As far as the profits part goes, why must the families get money from everything related to this day? Did CBS pay them when they sold ads for the 9/11 documentary (did the documentarians give all of their money?)?

Somewhere the line needs to be drawn. If it's too soon after that day for you, that would be the only reason I would find it to be in poor taste. Since the vast majority of victim's immediate families agreed to the film, what's the big dilemma?

Respectfully stated.

What is so disgusting about this??? Of course, every producer will profit from their own work...What abt the movie abt the United Airlines, wasnt it about the 9/11 victims too? Didnt the producer, director and actors profit from the movie too?

You're an idiot ... seriously, horrendously stupid ... Yes there is profit, but, this money is being made with the permission of the officers that were stuck in the WTC .... If this a story to tell the world then let it be told. Who are you to say it's wrong?

me neither, i would not dare want anyone to relive this tragic situation, this is going to bring back so many emotional feelings, i mean, i dont even have to go see it, and that still makes me feel deeply for those whose lives been changed, and loss. most people still have not gotten over there loves ones since five years ago.i can still remeber it as if it was yesterday, why would they want to have someone feel the pain all over again

I think it would be stupid if the ppl being portrayed in the movie didn't agree with it. But if they do, hey, it's all good. Everyone deserves their own spotlight.
