Ryan Freel is at times, the best and most explosive player that Cinncinnati has. He creates runs, plays excellent D in multiple positions, and always hustles. He is a great leadoff and gets little to no recognition. Until he upstaged Willie Mays this week with that unbelievable catch, ESPN hadn't said much about him, or the Reds for that matter.

Vernon Wells, Joe Crede and Justin Morneau.
Ryan Freel is terrible, there's a reason he never had a consistent spot in the lineup until the Reds made that trade.
David Wright gets his *** kissed so many times its ridiculous. Everyone thinks he's great, which he is, he is a top 5 3baseman. So he's not underrated. If he is, its only because Beltran is putting up better numbers on his team.
And Chone Figgins is batting .250, he's one-dimensional this year (was great last year) like Scott Podsenik (who is overrated) always is.

First of all, David Wright? Are you kidding, hes always being talked about and is always brung up when it comes to NL MVP race. If anything he is overrated, but not really cuz hes awesome but Ryan Freel, he us underrated but not the most. Hands down, Mike Sweeney, maybe one of the games best active hitters.

David Wright is far from underrated. The guy just got a six year extension and makes daily appearances on Web Gems.

1. Kevin Youkilis - Boston Red Sox
Leads MLB in pitches seen per at bat, he's the perfect hitter for wearing down a starting pitcher.
2. Michael Young - Texas Rangers
I know he's an All-Star, but put this guy on the Yankees and people would forget who Jeter is.

Joe Crede. Hitting either sixth or seventh in the White Sox lineup all year, he's already set career highs in HR's and RBI's this year (25 and 78), hitting .305 with a .563 slugging percentage (40 points over his career average). Hitting behind three guys who have 91 HR's between them, he isn't coming up that often with guys on base and still has 78 RBI's.
