I stumbled across some disturbing news a couple of nights ago, and now we're at Code Orange. Isn't it interesting that NONE of this has been on the news?

In order to control people, don't you need to put fear into them so that they will look to their leaders for 'safety and security'?

Please look at the above link and tell me honestly, how many of you knew about these world-wide actions.

As Michael Moore stated in Fahrenheit 911, keep the nation thinking about terror by constantly putting that fear in their mind.

I don't have TV in my home and was shocked when I saw a TV commercial recently stating "talk to your kids about terrorism" but offering no suggestions on how to address it. During daytime hours when kids might be watching TV. It was put out by the Department of Homeland Security. Other than to instill fear in people, what was the purpose of a commercial like that other than to keep people thinking about the possibility of terrorism?

These drills are not designed to instill fear, but allow people who would be responding to get some practice. While I was in the Navy we drilled constantly on fighting fires, flooding, etc. If we had not practiced these things and only read about them when the real situation occurred you would not have known what to do. It has nothing to do with any kind of fear mongering, or conspiracy of upcoming events. If Ray "Chocolate City" Nagin had run some drills on hurricane preparedness instead of just having everyone read from a book, more people may have been saved.
