you can use the search engine www.dogpile.com and type in the artist and song title, and then click "audio" and they will return all audio results they found. look at the time of the songs that show up to see if they're :30 second samples or actual full songs, then just right click and "Save target as...". this works because the search engine searches for websites or hosts that are hosting that song (which means someone uploaded it to a website, so thus it is NOT P2P sharing). usually, you won't find really obscure songs, nor is it common to find full albums, but if it's like some song you heard on the radio and you liked it, there's a good chance you'll find it here =)
happy searching.

You can legally share files I believe. It's called P2P programs. There are alot, so you may want to do a search on P2P music sharing. You have to be careful though, some programs like KaZaa have viruses in the download. Maybe try Ares.com (not the lite version as I heard that has viruses too).

properly there won't be an good source for loose song downloads, it extremely is maximum probable unlawful because of the fact the artist won't gets a commission for their artwork. in case you like the artist/song you need to purchase it to coach the artist help. additionally, stay far flung from P2P courses like Limewire. there are various viruses on there and the RIAA has filed cases against hundreds of persons who downloaded song on the community.
