And I can put the ink into the cartridge myself, and not pay someone else to do it? Its for a franking machine, with Pitney Bowes cartridges.

Try and avoid doing this. They only work for a while, and can be dangerous to your printer. You can get some good ink cartridges here. I have been using them for years, and they have very low prices, and good cartridges..click it>>

In my experience I would avoid those...they may work for a little bit, but sometimes the ink isn't as dense as the liquid that was there, and slight leakage can occur which can damage the inside of your printer over time. So sure, you may save $30 on a cartridge, but if you have to spend $100 on a new printer because of it, is it really worth it?

I know that Office Max is doing this now. They refill it for you and check it. I personally have not tried this, I think I would not risk endangering my computer with ink fill, I think it is better to buy the cartridge.
