Then my neighbours had a big fight about who had eaten the last chicken leg and he called her a fat b-i-t-c-h and she called him a lying son of a b etc. Then I noticed my cat was eating a chicken leg and he must have stolen it and sneaked back over my garden wall with it......Shall I own up and tell them ? Or shall i let them carrying on arguing ?

Sounds like it was about more than a chicken leg! They would have been arguing about something by now even if the cat hadn't nicked their last morsel.

Perhaps this was just the catalyst for an argument which was bound to happen. IF I were you I wouldn't tell them about your feline friend - they may resent you for what is quite obvoiusly their own problem!

Good luck, and next time get the cat to bring one back for you too!

Wow, if they're fighting like that about a chicken leg then there's more to the problem. I think they have other problems and they took the opportunity of a missing chicken leg to fight. I wouldn't worry about fessing up for your cat, they would have fought about something else anyways. And I have to admit, your cat stealing a chicken leg is actually pretty humorous.

LOL... Do you live in my neighborhood. How much alcohol was involved? The things people will fight over. I would tell them that your cat ate the chicken leg or they may take it to another level. That's why I stay away from my neighbors, or just watch from a distance.

i say sit back enjoy the show and laugh! its obvious if they fight over a chicken leg, they got bigger issues than that in their life. If I found out my cat ate the chicked I would rolling on the floor laughing. Im laughing now!

if i were you i really wouldnt get involved let them fight it out themselves cos by the sound of it if a chicken leg can set them off arguing that badly theyre not going to exactly love you if you do tell them... sounds like they have lot more problems than just a bbq...

LOL. I think you should tell them. However, it is hilarious that something as silly as a chicken leg caused them to have this big of a row!
