I recall one like space invaders..I needed to type in the letter that was on the creature to stop it. Anything that would help a small child...maybe online free? THANKS :)

then, on the next page click on lessons
there's even a part where you can cut and paste text of your choice into a box and it will let you practice the text. so maybe you can cut and paste portions of the cat in the hat, so your child will have some interest in what they are typing.
it doesn't have all the fun graphics like yahoo's typer shark, but it gets the job done.

On yahoo.com there is a game called typer shark. It is free and fun.

yahoo games has that shark attack typing game. It's alright.
I prefer typing of the dead though.
