If you are worrying because of age, you shouldn't do it... It isn't the age that is the issue, you are just using that to cover for something else you aren't comfortable with. When you are comfortable with someone, age doesn't come into play. Just wait this one out...

5 or 6 years isn't that much at all. My boyfriend and I are 7 years apart. I met him when I was 15.....we were friends for 2 years then started dating when I was 17. We have now been together for 4 years and still going strong.
I mean if your 12 thinking about dating somebody 18...thats kind of weird. I think you know what is right and wrong.
Edit---
People don't realize this but every state has a different age of consent law.....MANY are not 18. He cannot go to jail or become a sex offender if you are at least the age of consent in your state.
Here are the age of sexual consent laws

if you are a minor and he is an adult (18 and older) than no. If you two get caught, he will go to jail for having sex with a minor and be classified as a sex offender which means he could have to register every address he lives at for 10 years or for life depending on the classification he gets. Its not worth the risk especially since a lot of adult guys go after little girls to see how easy they can get into a girls pants. Just wait until you are 18 or find a boy your age. If he does go to jail, he wont be allowed around any minor until they become an adult at age 18. Its not fair to him to be put in that position.

it's all in how mature you as a person are, along with your partner. If it doesn't bother you or them, and if you two click them go for it. But the thing to remember is the reason most couples that have the age difference don't last is because they don't remember this.
in a relationship your equal partners, younger or older, male or female, you two are sharing each others lives.
if you don't want a relationship and just want to have fun then just make sure you two talk and feel comfortable.

if you are an under age person then no stay away from them if you are an adult then yes if you love them but no if your not sure . you sound too young for sex. it should not be a dare it should be for love. if you are only a teenager wait don't let someone pressure you just because they are older you need to enjoy being young first.

20 years ago I married my husband- He was 32 and I was 22.We're still married. So yes. Just the fact that your asking the question though- seems like your not mature enough to be in relationship with someone who might take advantage of you.

For me yeah.....he is my husband. For you? I would not suggest it. Just because you like someone........DONT HAVE SEX WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!! You are young and very naive! Ive seen your other questions. Hon........get to know who you are.........be a kid before you start messing around with sex! You are going to attract guys for the wrong reason. You dont want a guy just cause he wants to do you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should get to know someone and build a trusting relationship. Dont take is to casually! Your body and having sex is not a toy or a game................its a gift you give to someone you love! Remember that! Sex is emotional for girls.........not so for guys......for the most part! Please dont!
