my ex of seven years moved to the USA ( i live in trinidad) we carried on a long distance relationship then i found out he had been married to this girl for 3months ( we were still together) but he never told me well when i found out i confronted him and he told me he only did it so he could get to stay over in the USA and he doesnt love her. well as much as that was what i wanted to hear i knew that it would not make any sense to continue the relationship so i ended it and it really took some time and a lot of crying to get over him.

my hardest breakup was when my husband and i split after 6 years of marriage. i found out from a family friend that he had gone back to his country. i cried that night and never cried about it again.

I had dated my last BF for 3 yrs and we did everything together. I was very deeply in love with him. I found out that he had been cheating on me for a year with a girl that lived right down the street whom I once called my friend. The worse thing was I was pregnant and she was pregnant also and she said that it was a possibility that he was the father of her child and it crushed me. Unfortunately she miscarriaged and I did to, because of the stress. So after she revealed that infromation to me he brokeup with me. I cried everyday. It took me almost a year to get over it. I got over it because I had a strong family support. I went out with my friends and met new people. My grandmother would have me to look in the mirror and ask me what I see and I would tell her and she would tell me what she saw in me and it would make me smile. The key is to love yourself. It was his loss and my new BF's gain, he treats me like a woman should be treated and just thank God that he spared me from that. It only prepared me to recognize the kind of guys for me and the kind to stay away from. Like my mom always tell me "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".

Good Luck
