I haven't heard too much about it. I've had the Wii shoved in my face since my brother works for Nintendo. But personally I'm a bigger Playstation fan. I think that these systems are incredibly expensive and I don't understand why everyone runs out to buy them asap. I'm not huge on first gen systems because they usually have so many issues. But I want to see the graphics first hand to see if they really do compare or are better than the 360. I think that PS3 is going to still blow all the other systems out of the water despite the price just because Playstation has the most games. Period. Doesn't matter what version, everyone makes games for PS3 and most of the best games are found on it. So yeah, PS3 is going to kick some serious ***. I'll just watch from the sidelines for a while though until it gets to a price range that us middle to lower class people can afford!!! :(

I think it's going the baddest console to hit streets. All the different the things that's on it, there is no comparsion. For instance, it has a blu-ray player, you can play up to 7 people, all controllers are wireless with motion sensor (like the Nintendo Wii), 5 different memory slots, and WiFi connection (the last 2 features I mention are it the 60 gig model only). Plus the games manufactured on blu-ray disc. Which means more content, better picture and crisp sound. The only down fall about the PS3 is people it won't do to good because it cost too most. That one thing that worries because it is kind of true once you think about it. When it comes time for Christmas shopping, there are a lot of bargain shoppers that will buy the 360 or the Wii instead of the PS3. But yeah, if they the best quality, they'll buy the PS3.

The ps3 would have been a good console if its price was lower from about 500-600 to 400-500, thogh that is still higher than the xbox360 it still wouldnt be good to buy, if everyone had HD tvs and they came out with more HD games than yea it would be good. Id recommend getting the xbox360, or the wii, the wii actually has a chance of being the best selling console this year!!

reasons not to buy a ps3
1. you may not buy or sell a used ps3 game
2. you may not rent a ps3 game
3. it costs 650 bucks
4. a high speed internet connection is needed to launch the console.
5. you may not loan or borrow a ps3 game
and that should be about all u need to know to not buy one and it is true that you may not resale your used ps3 games or let ur friends borrow your games! i saw it on g4 dont believe me go to the website and check it out. so save some cash and buy an xbox 360 because i have one and its sweet.

EXPENSIVE but the games like Final Fantasy XIII is the BOMB. I ever PS3 will lower their prices into 400 ill buy it
