There are words left unspoken at the moment - ignoring of feelings. How can I get them to open up to me? I need answers from them - and only them. How do I go about bringing up probably one of the most important talks we'll ever have?

Thank you Tab - nice answer. I am hurt - very. I need to talk to them so bad but I freeze everytime we are together. All these words sit and never get up and run out of my mouth.

"We need to talk" - - those four words are powerful - start with them.......be honest without being accusing or hurtful when possible. This talk sounds like something that you owe yourself just as much as them - you sound really sincere and hurt......you also sound caring and concerned...I bet if I - a stranger on the Internet can tell this about you the other person already knows as well, that will go a long way.

Well first of all you need to be able to just listen. Take turns and get in an environment that is not everyday. Go to the beach, park, and have plenty of time so your not rushing to be somewhere. Bring some snacks and bare your soul. People will open up to you if they trust you. Everyone is not proud of everything they have done or gone through in life. If you can not judge and listen and understand, anyone should be able to talk to you. No throwing anything back in any ones face....

Well I don't think I can top Tab (LOL) he gave you excellent advice. I just want to add one other thing the person you have to talk to is probably just as upset as you and probably wants to talk as much as you do so go for it follow Tab's advice and say those 4 little words "We need to talk. "

try being relaxed with them and make them comfortable and take them some where quiet with no one around and start the conversation simple but not saying to much because they could be shy, give them time they'll open up.

If you're going to talk about things which you're afraid to be open about, make sure to be really comfortable and think about what you say.

Or you could just say, "I'm going to be open about something" and talk about what's on your mind.

Just do it. You can think about it all you want to but until you do something about it nothing really gets sloved. Face to face, ask them straight out. (in a place that's safe, where you two are alone)

I think you should bring that person in a really calm and not crowdy place... then be honest about your feelings to that person... as we say in french "qui ne risque rien n'a rien"...
