Why do so many Muslims refuse to accept the terrorist threat?

Why do so many Muslim posters insist that 9/11 was an American set up, that Muslims never kill civillians, that this lastest foiled plot is a "set up by British police" etc etc.

Why can't they accept that these things have been indeed done by muslims.

You cannot possibly dispute that the Londond bombings on 7/7/05 were done by Muslims in a "jihad" against the West as the perpetrators are actually ON VIDEO bragging about what they are going to do and why they are doing it!! So that one cannot be disputed.

I find it offensive that these people still try to convince themselves and others that Muslims "couldn't have done it" - its also a little pathetic. It must be hard to have this sort of thing to face up to and maybe face that your religion is not what you thought it was but its a big insult to those who have died.

All this talk of "Zionist Conspiracy" is pure rubbish. Its just as bad as Nazis claiming the Holocaust never happened!!!

Mash - quite a few actually - I live in the UK and know lots of Pakistani and Bangladeshi muslims and they all insist that the terrorist attacks are the work of Jews and America! Unbeleivable!

What i find it very weird is a lot of you people go on asking questions and claiming that Islam is a religion of terrorism and violence and that Muslims are being tricked to believe their religion is not what it seems and that it says you should kill people who are not Muslims i have no idea who gave you such untrue and screwed up ideas give me one shred of proof that Islam is a religion of violence you people most of the times completely (and sometimes deliberately) mix between the term Arabs and Muslims a lot of terrorism is done by Arab who happen to be Muslims and they do that because of what's happening to Palestine and their realization that the US and UK are the number 1 supporters to Israel and the real reason for it's strength.
What ever terrorism is done by the name of Islam no body can approve it but it's really easy to understand & symathize with their reasons.
P.s the Holocaust is filled with rubbish it happened but not a million jew was killed cause in all germany there wasn't a millon jew. and gypsys were killed in the Holocaust also and alot of other races not only poor jews

How about all of the hard evidence READILY available to PROVE beyond a SHADOW of a doubt that 9-11 was a COMPLETE HOAX!!!!!!!!

And it is certainly not just Muslims who were not suckered by this blatant treachery.

I'm not going to babysit you and write an essay on the subject, but here's just a few tid-bits

1. Research why all of the 3 world trade center buildings came down in nearly perfect symmetry, and at incredible speed. Setting a HISTORICAL PRECEDENCE as the first three buildings EVER to fall from moderate collision (one must take in to account the relative size of the planes to the buildings) and fire.

2. Research why NORAD was conducting simulated "War Games" (what a hell of a term huh?) of exactly the same incidents at precisely the same time as the real life events were occurring, thus confusing and essentially disabling our entire national defense?

3. Research why molten metal "hot spots" of well over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit were found DEEP underground in the bedrock under the world trade center towers MONTHS after the towers came down?

4. Research why little if any visible debris was found at the sights of both the pentagon crash and the flight 93 crash in Pennsylvania?

And finally, ask yourself who stood to gain the most from the terror of the American people? Wouldn't their leadership find them more willing to follow their lead in what ever endeavor they choose?

I think Muslim countries want to rule the whole world. Just because they have oil. Its not just their jihad movement which causes all these problems its all political pressures too... oil wars were totally because of economic reasons of Euro being accepted as a currency to trade for oil along with Dollar.... bush wants his dollar to be the strongest and hence masks many wars with weapons of mass destruction. There are some things which are going on which is solely due to politics and it could be right that there might be some politcal involvement in 911 from americas side too... search on yahoo abt Jackals... who are hired by us government to kill foreign delegates.. and blame on some accident or so... so its not that its just Jihad.. but its a sole back fire of our polical situation that folks like us suffer,....

no longer all terrorists are Muslim, no matter if or not they be "homegrown" or of overseas places beginning. Take Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, for instance. They weren't Muslim, and neither are the Basque separatists who're believed to have carried out up that vehicle bomb in Madrid.(now to not be at a loss for words with the subway bombing, besides the undeniable fact that, which replaced into carried out with the help of Muslim terrorists). now to not prepare certain animal rights activist communities, whose contributors will be of any faith. Terrorism has its roots in extremism of beliefs, and may come from human beings of all walks of existence.

well dear 9/11 and the London metro attacks were indeed caused by al quaeda (today's events are yet to be confirmed)
But the real question is who's the hand over Bin Ladens head

Try to answer these questions and you'll come to an astonashing conclusion
1 Who started Funded and Trained the initial Al Quaeda members?
2 Who refuses to freeze his funds and holdings although many of them right under their nose(although they said they would)
3 who knew everything about 9/11 and refused to act upon the dozens of warnings?
4Who let all of Bin Ladens family escape by plane on 9/11 even though all other air traffic on their soil was grounded?
5Who still has business dealings through banks owned By Enemy of the state number 1
