Would you tell?

Lets suppose you are having an affair or had one and you confided in a sibling/family member of your indiscretion. You thought that your secret was safe but when given the opportunity they tell your significant other about it. Would you be angry? Would you disown this family member or just suck it up and forgive them? Do you think that its another's place, whether family or not, to tell a secret such as this or should they keep their mouths shut?

If I trusted someone and they broke my confidence that would be it for me. I'd disown the person, family or not, no matter what it was I trusted them with.

1st of all why would u put such a responsibility like that on any relative.. u know their gonna tell eventually..

if u gonna do some mess like that confide in a best friend not a family member... cause then when it all comes out instead of them just hating u they'll be hating the secret holder as well..

If this is a deep secret, then don't tell ANYONE. Even sister's and brothers will leak the secret. Don't ever tell anyone. Not even your Mother. This is why when we have done something that possibly would not be approved of, then for God's sake do not tell. Only take it to God.

Id probably just kick their a$$ and never tell them another secret again. But they are your family.

Don't be telling people things you don't want known, plain and simple. You can't trust anyone, even family members.
