one thing you could include is how removal of predators can effect other forms of life in a given area. A good example is how deer populations can get way out of hand when wolves are culled in forested areas. You can follow that down to how plant populations are damaged when deer overpopulate, etc.

You don't mention how old you are or what level of education this presentation is aimed at, but six minutes is not a lot to work with. You need to grab your audience early. My suggestion is to start really small -- kill something everybody wants dead, like mosquitoes -- with a magic potion or machine, with no side effects. Then follow the effects up and out like the ripples in a pond. The birds/fish/frogs that feed on them die -- the things that eat their eggs die, remove the birds and the insects swarm and eat all the food and the fish die and clog the rivers . . . up and up and up you go until it all unbalances and blows up, just because of dead mosquitoes or what have you. The point, of course, is that everyone seems to focus, so often, on the BIG PICTURE, which is good. But sometimes, it's the little things that count as well. Just a suggestion. Good luck.
