Ok..What's up with, turning into complete babies who can't even get a glass of water? Then after we are done slaving over every need of yours, still act like you are about to die but adamantly REFUSE to see a doctor and get some medicine and end this misery for all involved?

Most of us only get sick like once or twice a year, therefore you must put up with us when we are in that condition!! And of course, if we go to the doctor, that would make us, well, wimps! Doctors are only for important manley things, such as stitches or broken limbs, silly!

Lol. I wish I had a good answer for you, but my husband is such a baby when he is sick, it is almost as if he expects me to have these motherly instincts and take care of him as his mother did when he was a child. He always refuses to go to the doctor. One example, not exactly being sick, but there was a time a few years ago when my husband was bit by something and his arm swelled up with a welt the size of a baseball, so naturally I started worrying and looked up bug bites on the internet, turns out he was bit by a spider and in some cases, a spider bite can cause the flesh to deteriorate around the bite itself, I pulled up pictures...he kept saying it will get better on its own...I showed him the pictures and moments later we were in the ER. That was the last time he ever waited when being sick!
And when I am sick, he does help a little bit, but I find that most of the time I do things for myself..because I do not want to burden him...who knows if they will ever stop being babies when it comes to being sick.

Give it a rest! Men are children when they get sick, myself included. But I don't want to be waited on hand and foot...just hand. And, let's face it, we get well IN SPITE of doctors. Unless it is really bad, there is usually no point in seeing one. Now, get back to that glass of water and pamper the poor thing...he may be dying like he thinks he is...good luck

They love the attention. It's the only time they don't have to do a darn thing, and not get in trouble for it. They just eat it up!!!

Because they want us to pamper them. Men are just little boys in big bodies! lol They expect their wives/girlfriends to baby them like their momma did when they were little.

if my guy were really sick i would take care of him but if he didn't appreciate it or return the kindness when i got sick i wouldn't care for him again.
