to a complaint for not paying child support. We have paid and are not delinquent. Will we still have to go before a judge, or what happens next, since we replied that and sent in receipts where support has been paid??? We live in Ky if that matters.

The case may have been set up for court enforcement a few months ago when no payments were being made, or perhaps its going to court for review... Either way, the day of the hearing make sure you take copies of all paystubs (if its a garnishment) or copies of money orders and checks.
Like another answerer here mentioned, all payments are to be done through the child support office NOT directly to the custodial parent.... One thing you need to understand that everything is a process and the courts have thousands of hearings every week, so even though you just got your subpoena to go to court, your case was already set up 3 or 4 months ago! Maybe a that time payments were late or not made. - As long as you have copies of payments you should be OK

Evidently u have been turned in for not paying child support. Hopefully you pay directetly to the AG and NOT to the x-spouse. The AG's office will have full documentation to either support your side or the x-spouse. They will indeed have the checks logged. Another way to pay through the AG is by this coming immediately out of your check (garnishement) and you don't even have to worry about making the payments they just come right out of the paycheck. NOTE: Always keep the cancelled check---ALWAYS---until the minor child is 18 years of age and YOU are no longer required to submit payments. Typically the AG's office prosecutes delinquency in payments. Wait--they will contact you.

If you have paid then someone somewhere has records of this payment and it just needs to be found. Government offices are known for misplacing things. Just wait I doubt if you will need to go to court. But be prepared if you do and have all your documents with you.
