I am forming another band - this time with all women. We will be a variety dance band that does music from the 70's through the music being played on Top 40 stations today. We have 4 singers who fit different "types". One is a diva, one is a rowdy but pretty type, one is a wholesome girl-next-door type, and I'm a mixture of rap/funk/punk. We were toying with "Lipstick Factor". Please tell me what you honestly think of the name and if anyone has any suggestions for names, please feel free to post. Thanks all!!!

We were also joking about calling ourselves "Sporadic Patches Of Wool". That was after quite a few glasses of wine at Applebee's. . .

I don't really like it...seems like I have heard something similar to that lately.

Introduce me to the rowdy but pretty one ? I'll help pick a name.

- The Stand Alones = you all have different personalities and your music is ecletic.

- The Four Corners = four of you and again, your music is from different times and places.

- 4 Stroke Sisters = i.e. 4 stroke motor, sounds kind of "rock" so... maybe not

- Volume 4 = another 4 member, music related one... simple

- The Curves (or Curve) = just sounds nice

- The Venus Ladies (or the Venus Girls or Girls for Venus) = you know they say "men are from Mars..." yeah that whole thing.

- Essence = another 'nice' sounding one

- PMS Factor = sorry, had to do it

- Blush = you said "Lipstick Factor" so here's a shorter, make-up related name

- The One Liners = it is what it is

- Girls Who Cried Wolf = this is me running out of ideas

- Women At Work = yeah I'm out of ideas

Good luck, there's a handful of zingers for you to toss around.

once I hear it it would not make any experience to me yet regardless of the certainty that that's the factor of band names they're meant to be own to you. My band is named "screaming ineffective toddler in a jar" and as you may probable wager, we've not gotten some distance with it :)
