ARE THERE ANY PEOPLE OUT THERE ON A KOSHER DIET?
i have this question for school, please can anyone help. Marty is a 45-year old jewish man who emigrated from Israel to the United States 3 years ago. he follows a strict kosher diet. In addition, he does not drink milk but does consume other dairy products. He has a body mass index (BMI) of 32 and a family history of heart disease.

His BMI is obviously too high. I would need to know a bit more about what his diet is like. Is he eating meat every day, or just on Shabbat? He could possibly reduce his meat intake to only on Shabbat (when it is almost a mandate).

I would suggest eating more fresh green vegetables, while cutting down on carbohydrates (perhaps a bit less fruit). Fresh fruits and vegetables are automatically kosher (assuming they are bug free). He probably could reduce his dairy intake a bit, but you don't say how much dairy he is consuming.
