The previous answers will work as well, but If you have a GPS that can connect to your computer, you can download a program called netstumbler which will search for access points and try to pin point their location

a wireless network isn't coming or going anywhere. An access point has a certain reach. This doesn't move, unless the accesspoint moves about (which is unlikely).
So if you wanna know where your neighbours accesspoint is: move around with a laptop with a wireless network card in it. At the point you have the best reception, you're nearest to that access point.
