eating zebra is WHAAACK

does each alternating bite taste different?

No, because it's very difficult to get zebra to drink beer.

Although this is unknown to most people, zebras actually have extremely discriminating palates, and they find most beers too bitter for their taste. Zebra are more likely to be found sipping first growth wines like those produced by Chateau Latour, and admiring their aromas.

If you are determined to interest a zebra in sharing a few beers, I would highly recommend something belgian, perhaps a trappist, like Chimay Rouge from Bieres de Chimay.

I think you'll find zebra to be an excellent dining companion - they enjoy a good political debate as much as the next fellow.

Chiang Mai Night Safari to Serve Up Exotic Animals on the Menu"

Shocking: Chiang Mai Night Safari to Serve Up Exotic Animals on the Menu
A recent deal struck between Kenya and Thailand to incarcerate 175 of Kenya's wild animals in a Thai zoo (the Chiang Mai Night Safari), has outraged conservationists and wildlife experts across the globe (press release).

Controversy surrounding the Chiang Mai Night Safari has, however, just reached new heights. In media reports released today, the Thai Project Director for the Night Safari, Dr Plodprasop Suraswadi, reportedly announced that there will be an "exotic buffet" option available to visitors to the park. The menu will apparently include tiger, lion, elephant, giraffe, crocodile and zebra. The Safari, due to be officially opened on New Years Day, will, it seems, be serving up the very species that it is also going to exhibit.

This announcement makes a mockery of any attempt by the Thai authorities to justify the wild animal import from Kenya for conservation or educational reasons. The Chiang Mai Night Safari is clearly nothing more than a Theme Park - with Kenya's precious wild animals being exhibited alongside shopping zones, musical fountains and restaurants serving such appalling dishes.

I don't personally think zebra would be a gourmet delicacy with anything--it would be like eating Bambi.

I would think that a zebra would taste more like venison than anything else. I wouldn't mind trying it but hold the beer. Beer makes me ill. I am allergic to the hops.

My best guess is that it would probably taste a lot like horsemeat which is delicious I hear. There are some restaurants that specialize in exotic foods and they are usually expensive and you would be surprised to see what is on the menu. Have not been to any in a very long time so keep up the search to find one in your area. Try a search on Yahoo.
