I think Kelly has the potential as long as she doesn't sell out.
By "sell out" I mean change the way she is or act like something shes not just for the sake of publicity.
Come on...everyone knows both Christina and Jessica have done it.

I doubt very seriously that any of the women listed will reach Mariah's status. They all have the potential, but they don't really have the right group working with them.
Mariah continues to write material from life experiences and it appears as though Kelly Clarkson is the only one with the writing talent even close to Mariah's.
Jessica needs to fire her father and get a totally different marketing team.
Christina has the best voice out of the three ladies, but her writers are not the best. Plus her videos are not the greatest either.
So, I doubt very seriously they will even be around for even five more years.

um, Mariah Carey's status, you mean a chubby slutty whore who can't sing only scream? I think Christina Aguilera has the a great voice and Jessica and kelly well, they are good but on their way down to Mariah carey status. So, well, thats my opinion.

I don't think so, I mean Christiana has mad vocals, but she is no MC and can never compare. Either can Kelly & Jessica, but they have a chance at reaching Christina's status.

The only women artists that even come close to Mariah, would be Madonna (she's above and beyond), and/or MAYBE Janet Jackson.
Mariah is her own woman with her very own style, there really is no comparison to her.

No way. Stars like Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson have been around for a lonnnggggg time, and these other stars have to make their own name. Stars these days come and disappear as fast as we change our underwear (hopefully that's pretty often).

i dont think so mariah carey is legendary. and if they do make it. it will take them a long long time to reach her status.
