I'm Greek...and I love Italy. I want to learn italian...I love the way italians speek. I've been to Italy once and I want to go there again. I loved the buildings and the atmosphere of Italy...so romantic and beautiful. Rome was just great and Florence too. The only negative is that many people don't speak english and it was difficult to communicate. Food is excellent though! Yes, Italy is a lovely place:-)

Am neither American nor Italian but will answer anyway.
I like the very varied scenery, the beaches, the language, the food, the wine (red, please), the cities (especially Rome, Florence and Venice), the history, the pulse and the people. The only thing I don't like about Italy's that the cost of living is pretty high. Your country's wonderful and I'll keep coming back :)

I like the Italian cuisine; it is high in cholesterol and starches, but delicious. The people are warm and there are sites that defy a person's imagination.
All the Italians I have met were really nice. I thought they fit perfectly in our activities in New York.

It is so BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous people, breathtaking scenery, amazing food, fabulous wine and my absolute favorite shopping in the world! And let's not forget the language! My husband once read the instructions for his new computer in Italian and was in mid-swoon when he told me what he was saying. *shrug* What can I say even that sounded romantic. *smile*
