i'm 12 and im thinking of getting my belly button pierced has any1 else had it done and if so was it sore?

12 is a little young to get pierced, and a shop may not do that for you unless you have parental permission.
But yes its a bit painful and they have a large change of getting infected.
Make sure to keep it VERY CLEAN!!

You are a bit young to be thinking about getting your belly button pierced, but if your parents let you do so then they will have to sign a consent form at the shop. As far a it hurting...not at all. To me it felt like someone pinched me. Its done really fast. Its going to be sore for a few day and it may even have some pus when its healing. GOOD LUCK!!

Hi, when i got mine done they froze it so i didnt feel much pain, and it never hurt afterwards either just bled loads, but some people i know got theres done when it wasnt froze and they said it hurt alot. The only thing wrong with mine was that it went mancky and i had to take it out in the end, it kept catching on everything and it wouldnt heal, even though i was cleaning it with the right stuff. also if you are allergic to metal, like nickel, make sure you take ask what size belly bar they are going to pierce your belly button with, so that you can go and get a pure gold or silver one, so that it doesnt irritate your skin, because even though they use surgical steel it still has nickle in, and i think this is why mine didnt heal proply because i am allergic to metal.Dont be fooled if they day they use titainium because this is what they did mine with and i was still allergic, make sure its silver or gold, but you should be fine if you arent allergic to metal. I would wait till your a bit older though as it could grow out.

Ugh you are far too young and you will regret it, when and if you get pregnant in the future the hole will get big where it was pierced and it gets infected so easily. If you have to, ask your parents and make sure to keep it clean and follow the tips that the person who pierces it tells you to. Honestly, I think belly button piercings look awful, but it's up to you and your parents.
It will probably hurt it a bit, but it will hurt a lot if it gets infected.

My cousin got her's pierced and she said ears hurt worse. But she's allergic to silver or something and her's got infected and took like a year to heal. I got my eyebrow done (I let it grow shut after about 3 yrs) and it didn't hurt at all, the most painful part was the instrument they use to hold your skin out so they can put the needle through.

well hey i am 16...and i got my belly button done when i was 13...so i feel u..but it is swelling and red at the first two weeks...just make sure you take could care of it..clean the rings..and dont let anyone hit u or touch u there..cuz at first there is some bleeding going on...and then it could start to get infected..but after a while..its gonna look cute.but hey make sure ur parents know..ok..lol

id give it a while yet its not only the pain you have to deal with
its scarey and it does hurt like a quick burn but its more painful afterwards
you have to keep it clean and to move it around but overnight it trie to heal so its like you have to keep it open every time
dont get me wrong i love mine but id suggest waiting til your older and a bit surer
theres nothing stopping you going in and talking to the piercer but just make sure your sure and get it in a proper place

mine was sore yes, ive also had my clit hood pierced and that didnt hurt half as much and healed quicker too, savannah
