What will I/we have to do/change when (a) my partner moves in and (b) we get married? (We're in the UK)?

You dont have to do it unless the government consider same sex marriage legal in your place. But i would suggest you ask a lawyer cause i dont know how its being done in UK..Good Luck and Best Wishes!!!
