Mine lasts usually around 7-8 days and 2-3 of those days are VERY heavy. I use Always and usually back that up with a tampon. But Always absorbs a lot and is a very good pad to use. Good luck!

Mine last about 5 days with the first three being very heavy. I use stayfree long maxi pads for maxium protection. During my heavy days I wear stayfree overnight pads very long and thick. I do not want to take any chances with making a stain in my panties.

yes, this is normal, especially if you are just starting (or have not had your period longer than 2 years).
It takes women 2-3 years to get a regular period. Bleeding heavily for 7-8 is fairly common.

mines last like 3 or 4 days. i use to use always but now i use tampons!! mines isn't really heavy, it's light!

Every woman's sexual system is not the same. In fact your longer periods signify that you have a much mature uterus. It is quite normal to have slightly longer periods. The average is 5 days though. You should never worry about this.

always overnight with wings, mine only last 4 days but i have had children, before I had kids mine lasted longer. I used always overnight with wings after having my kids when i was bleeding heavily and they work very well.

mine lasts 7/8 days. I use Kotex light..... I'm young so I think tampons are just uncomfortable.
