No, it does not mean you're gay. I grew up watching musical movies and I still love them (when ever some decides to make one again). The actors not only had to act, they had to sing and dance also. I love the stories, all the music and the dancing. Watching these makes a person smile and see the world in a new light. There's just too much violence anymore, in real life, TV and movies - it's a great escape to just watch a musical and feel happy again.

No ... it might just mean that you really love great singing. The songs in that movie are marvelous, and Julie Andrews has one of the most angellic voices that was ever recorded. Her tone is pure, her diction delightful. I could listen to her for hours.
.
(P.S., did you know, that the blue-eyed actress who played the oldest daughter, a few years after that movie, did a photo shoot for Playboy? She was/is SUCH a babe! Think about THAT the next time you watch the movie! )
(( Doesn't that fact deserve best answer?! ))

It depends. Julie Andrews, who also was Mary Poppins, is old enough to be a grandmother, if she isn't already one. The other girls vary in age, since they all started at different times. I would only be concerned if you thought you wanted to marry Christopher Plumber (Mr. Von Trapp) or one of the boys. By the way, some of the REAL Von Trapps are still alive and living in the U.S.

Well, I'm a girl, so it's a little different, but I've seen the sound of music much, much more than 12 times. Have you been to the sing along sound of music? It's fantastic. My husband jokes that it's no different than watching the film with me anyway.

Yes, but only a little bit. The Andrews Scale measures gayness in proportion to how many times you've seen it, eg Elton John has seen it 37 times whereas Robbie Williams a mere 9.

it doesn't mean you're gay....it just means you have a sense of class and you really like a certain movie...i mean who cares if people think you're gay because you watch the sound of music...that means you're more cultured than a lot of guys are.....it just matters what you're think...if you're not gay then it doesn't matter what people say...because you still aren't gay

By appreciating girls in movies wont make you a lesbian (gays are for males). Do you have any strong liking for any girl/girls now that you are grown up? What about boys, do you like any of them? If you have strong feelings for your same sex, then there's a likelihood you may be a lesbian...but sometimes admiration can be misunderstood as love for your own sex.
Take your time to find out about your sexuality and please dont jump into the wrong conclusion which you may regret and feel ashamed of later. Do pray to GOD for guidance to find out your sexuality and try not to think too much about it, let nature takes its course. May God Bless you!
