I have Assembled PC at my home. It has 512 RAM. There are two hard disks one is 80GB and the other is 120GB. 80GB hard desk has windows server 2000. I am able to work on server 2000 and not able to work on windows XP which is in 120GB Hard disk. I am not sure whether the problem is with Operating system - windows XP or with RAM. I want to upgrade for 1GB RAM. Please suggest what to do.

it requires dual boot start up environment, in win2k u go to startup and recovery and assign the start up environment as making the 120gb hdd driveletteer with nt boot file.
nothing to do with ram,

I'll don't re command a dual boot because the PC becomes in stable when you don't mind the extra work (means more stability) when you wane work with XP make the 120 GB as master and vice versa

comine two hard disks on a single IDE cable! then put the first connected on MASTER and put the second one as SLAVE then you have to press the key [dono what's set in your BIOS] which opens up a "boot sequence" window. choose which of them you want the machine to come up with ... if you can't realize how this topology works just gimme a PM in yahoo messenger or send an e-mail... i will give u a full describtion

look that is your motherboard supports for 80gb and 120gb harddisk
