I believe you have to wait at least a year. You can log into your account on cingulars website and there is a section there to see when you can upgrade.

You're eligible for a full discount, meaning the lowest price that is available, when you have completed 18 months out of your 2 yr contract.

After your contract is up on your phone you can get another phone for free or for little money BUT you'll have to sign up for another 1 or 2 years!
