i want to know if i should take up knitting?

I wanted to know if i should take it up and if you guys thought it was weird for a guy

absolutely...it is fun and you'll be surrounded by ladies! But seriously, for those who think of it as a strictly female hobby, some of the best knitwear designers are men, and sailors traditionally knitted always to fix their clothes and to make warm clothes. I would also suggest taking up spinning as it is also quite a bit of fun.

Absolutely!!! If not knitting, then try crocheting. They're both relaxing hobbies, and it's nice to make things that you can give to your friends. You can also make stuff to give to homeless shelters, battered women shelters, etc.
I personally like crocheting because you don't have to worry about long needles; it's more portable; and you can make just as many things with crocheting as you can with knitting.
Once you feel your skills are good enough, you can enter your work in a county fair like I've done for the past two years. Last week I won first place for a doily I made, along with second place for a crocheted doll and third place for a baby sweater (last year, I got two second place and two third place ribbons).

Knitting a great hobby for anyone. You might get a few looks but I've heard its an absolute woman magnet for men. Go to a coffe shop with your knitting and I guarantee a woman will ask "What are you making?"

Knitting is a good hobby for anyone! It can be very relaxing and you have something to show for it, even if it is something simple like a scarf! Try it, you will like it.

well if u like knitting then do it there are a lot of people who do knitting and almost half of theme are men. it dosent matter if you are a female or male

knitting is mostly 4 girls, even i want to do knitting but my mom says its a girl thing, but u can do it if u want to.

I think all real men should have a soft spot. I say go for it. But personaly I would do crochaing first. But I think that would be very nice and who cares. It is good if you want it to be. Its creative.

Beading would be better. When you have completed something, you could give it or sell it to women. Women love jewelery.

anything that challenges you outside of your work, its a good hobby, and sure why not, its creative, and you might never know when you are gonna need it.
