oh and i have no friends or money. and something other than relax... my son is on a trip with grandma. i miss him, but is there anything i can do??

Funny I am in the same boat...my kids are away for the first time in 14 years we have time to ourselves but no money to do anything....so here I am!!! LOL
I would love to have gotten away and just enjoyed nature. Go into town, walk around, window shop...go to a fair or anywhere there are a lot of people or by the water...to a beach...I know it's hard being pregnant but getting out is the key thing. Try a movie at the theater too if you can...that's always fun or just call up old friends you haven't seen in a long while and catch up.

Well if you are 8 months pregnant, the last thing you probably feel like doing is going for a walk. Go to the library and get a book and sit outside, enjoy the weather and read. Go through your son's room and get rid of any toys or clothes that he is to old for. Better yet, price some stuff and have a garage sale! It will get you some extra cash. It will keep you busy for a few days! Plus it will give you a chance to have small talk with people who stop by.

Oh great, another single mom, who is bringing another child into this world without a father. Waaaaaaa what to do what to do.
My advice would be to start yourself on a CAREER so you can provide a considerably better life for your son. Yeah its not what you want to hear, because you only see having your child as a cute thing, "Oh isnt he so cute?!?!?!" Look, raising children is alot of hard work. You think its cute now? You just wait he starts talking back to you, calling you a B--ch, telling you to stay the f-k out of his business, etc... Honey you need to do some serious growing up before you bring any more children into this world. And you can argue with me all day about how so many single women can get by raising children and become successful, blah blah blah. Yeah those women generally tend to have made excellent career choices. And dont even say that its possible to properly raise a child without a father. My wife has 2 sons from her previous marriage, and guess what, when I met her, she was successful in her career. But her boys needed a good kick in the a-$ from someone, seeing how their real dad basically abandoned them. You may think, and you may say, you know someone who knows someone who raised kids properly blah blah blah. Take it from me, no one knows anyone like that.
Ok, 5 days without your boy, 8 months pregnant. Waaaa. You have so much time to kill, why not get a college education, start looking at what YOU want to do with your life.
I'm telling you this, in a very f-d up way because you cant be nice about these kinds of situations. Some people need to hear something unpleasant sometimes in order to wake up and truly smell the coffee. You know? I truly wish you the best of luck, but just stand by to work at least 10 time sharder to achieve any goals. But in the end, you've achieved your goals, and you have a beautiful home, not an apartment, trailer, renting, etc... But you have a HOME you have purchased with your own money. Trust me on this.

Pamper yourself - give yourself a pedicure and a facial, rent some movies, go for long walks - just concentrate on you. You already have 1 child so you know when the baby comes there won't be much "me" time. Enjoy yourself and relax.

grab a notebook and do alot of writing. try to find a name for new baby. get on the computer and make some friends. not sure where you live, but there are so many things you can do by yourself without any money, its not even funny! sneak into a movie, window shop at the mall, go to the library and rent some movies, they are free...

O sweets: Just try to keep your mind off of it. Play those saduko games those are fun. If you are bed ridden read a good book, those books by janet evanovich are really good, If you arent, go threw your closet and get rid of stuff you dont wear anymore. Rearrange things in your fridge, get a pet (kittens are easy) There is so much to do when you are lonely, Go out and Do it!

have you tried a nece relaxin bath and music, you shoould have at least on person to talk to?keepin busy is the best remedy you can have just dont over do and go in labor, good luck but think of it this way not gonna have any peace and quiet when comes home and when baby is born so try to think of it that way and enjoy, remember can always miss our children but always need a break!!!!1 soi take it cause your gonna want it aGAIN LATER

Aww...just be patient and enjoy the alone quiet time, try watching some good DVD's and have some good munchies to eat, because when the babies are all together it will be awhile before you get that down time. Hang in there and congrats!

You should join a mother's support group and meet new people. This could be a great way to learn new things about parenting and also make new friends.

Go on Matchingmoms.org & find other Mothers in your area. Get out there and stop sitting around feeling bad about yourself. No one is coming to your door if you are always behind it!!
