I have learned how to print me photos out but I want to put some on a CD and bring it to a store to have them print them out professionally. How do I put selected photos onto a disc? Is this known as burning? (i've never done that) or downloading? or what? I need digital photography for Dummies!!!

better to upload them to snapfish or shutterfly...you get professional prints for a good price and don't have to hassle with discs and stuff...very simple.

Actually, burning the photos on to a cd has nothing to do with photography. You need to have a cd burner for starters (most computers have them, but some do not), and then a cd burning software like Roxio or Nero. In Roxio, you just open up the program, pick the files you want on the cd, put a blank cd in the burner and click a button to burn it. It's really really easy, but without knowing what kind of computer setup you have, I couldn't give you specifics.

It's known as burning a disc.

You should have a prgram either on your computer or that came with your camera that will let you do this-> with ease.

best way is to do one of two things;
Either search your computer's user's manual; usually on the desktop.
Or search within your camera program. It should have software with it from the install disc.
